ABOUT THE PROGRAM
In today's corporate world, the dependency on computers is a common phenomenon with many levels of connectivity and networking. It becomes imperative for companies to ensure the safety and security of the network system available. In case the network is wireless enabled the system is exposed and requires extra safety measures.
After the boom in Networking and Software jobs, the past two years have seen a sharp rise in the field of Networking Security. Networking Security is the latest buzzword in the industry. In the past five years, the percentage of hacking crimes, data thefts, data losses, viruses and other cyber crimes have increased exponentially.
Final year engineering graduates, engineering graduates, diploma holders who are keen to join as Network & System Administrators in various industries
Pedagogy:
The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will leverage the use of technology. It will consist of a judicious blend of lectures, real life case studies, quizzes and assignments. The sessions will be delivered on HughesNet Global Education interactive learning platform.
Evaluation:
Participants are evaluated on the basis of examinations. The program involves one examination on completion of the program participants will be given marks scored in percentage on the basis of the examination results.
Structure of the Program:
The Networking & Network Security program is structured into two components:
Classroom Theory Component:
68 instructional hours through Interactive Onsite Learning Mode, spread over 24 weeks.
On Line Lab Sessions Component:
72 Lab hours through Interactive Onsite Learning Mode, spread over 24 weeks.
Schedule & Duration
- The NNS program is a 24 weeks program.
- The classes will be offered three days a week, two hours a day

Eligibility
Engineering Graduates (Final year engineering students can also apply), Diploma holders with minimum 50% marks are eligible for the program.
